Education

  • B.A. from UCSB

  • M.B.A. in Finance from Golden Gate University

Business Career

Worked in the family steel business, Soule Steel in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In response to the Great 1906 San Francisco Earthquake, the company was founded in 1911 by my grandfather, Edward Lee Soule, Sr. a pioneer in the reinforcing steel business. Over the years, I held positions in:

  • Commercial Property Management of the 10 acres in SF that included office and warehouse space.

  • Worked in accounting and finance.

  • Hands on experience in the Architectural Products Division - fabrication and installation of Aluminum Curtainwall projects. Next time you are in Campell, check out our work on the Pruneyard Towers!

Civic Engagement

Served on the San Jose Civil Service Commission from 2007 to 2011.

Republican Volunteer

Volunteered in every election since 2004 for both the Santa Clara County Republican Party and individual candidates:

  • Walked precincts knocking on doors and financially supporting local campaigns including: Chris Haugen for Congress in 2004, Pete Constant and Larry Pegrams for San Jose City Council, Chuck Reed for Mayor of San Jose, Mike Wasserman for County Supervisor and variety of state-wide races.

  • Organized, recruited and trained volunteers as the Sup District 4 leader for SVGOP in 2020.

  • Worked along with my wife in 2022, to coach school board candidates on how to canvass.

  • Served on the SVGOP Central Committee since 2005 as an elected member or alternate.

  • Delegate to the California Republican Party (CAGOP)
