Peter Soule
for Congress
Issues That Matter
Why Send Peter Soule to Congress?
Our current Congressional District 16 Representative does not support making life better, safer and more affordable for the people of California.
Send me to Congress and I will absolutely advocate for common sense solutions to make the lives of our neighbors safer, more affordable and pave the way for the next generation.
Public Safety and Security
In California we no longer feel safe in our neighborhoods or on our streets. Much of this anxiety is attributed to our laws not being enforced. As a member of Congress, I will advocate for:
Withholding Federal dollars going to cities who enforce sanctuary city policies that prevent the deportation of criminals who are here illegally.
Removing Federal Highway Funds from any state that continues to issue commercial driver’s licenses to anyone who cannot read English and obey traffic laws.
Restricting Red China from buying American farmland near our military bases.
Opposing local policies that limit our Second Amendment Rights
Supporting legislation that targets bigotry against Christians, Jews and others
Bring Back the Golden State
California’s economy is being strangled by excessive regulations and wasteful spending. Our current Silicon Valley Congressional Representatives have been complicit in “looking the other way” when solutions were offered. As a member of Congress, I will work with other common-sense representatives to:
End waste, fraud and abuse such as Congressman Kiely modeled when he introduced a bill in January to DEFUND the High-Speed Rail Project after California spent $15 Billion in Federal Funds without laying one mile of track.
Lower the cost of water to farmers by reforming the Federal Environmental Species Act and by increasing water storage capacity. This will make food more affordable for every consumer.
Make energy more affordable by removing restrictions on drilling for oil and building refineries in California.
Reduce the cost of housing in California by: Banning large financial institutions from buying single-family homes; Enabling Baby Boomers to sell their homes by shielding them from capital gains tax; and much more.
Reforming the HB-1 Visa program to favor the hiring of Americans over foreigners.
Build for the Next Generation
This year America celebrates our 250th anniversary. We need to start TODAY to ensure that our children live in a country where they can grow and thrive. We must:
Stop the flow of drugs and narcotics into our country that is poisoning and killing our youth.
Enact Federal policies to protect parental rights and enable parents to send their children to their school of choice.
Provide opportunities for all children to explore vocational training.
Provide Federal Funding only to schools that adopt curriculum focused on basic skills (reading writing and math) and provide a fair and balanced teaching of American history.
Set up saving accounts for school-aged children giving them a stake in the success of the US.
